Our message is simple.

Two months into the new fiscal year, Pennsylvania state legislators have still not passed the state budget.  What does this mean?  Any agency or program that is funded by the state or the county are not currently receiving that funding. What programs generally receive state funding?  Social service agencies, such as soup kitchens, daycare centers and non-profit organizations  that provide essential services to PA residents.  While some agencies are managing to stay afloat, others are closing their doors as a direct result of the halted cash-flow.  This means that services and resources that would otherwise be available to the public are becoming scarce.
As private citizens of Pennsylvania, we respect our legislators and recognize that passing a budget is no small undertaking for our elected officials.  However, we also recognize that the current impasse is hurting Pennsylvania residents, including our children, elderly and disabled.  That is why we want to spread our message of "PASS THE PENNSYLVANIA BUDGET." We want our friends, families and legislators to hear our message loud and clear.
